A Celebration of Life
James Rizzi (1950-2011) was a pop artist with a difference. he applied his signature linear, zany style to everyday objects, transcending the border between art and daily life.
His work was described by one critic as a cross between Picasso and Hanna-Barbera, combined with an evocation of Native American friezes. Rizzi's native New York was his main inspiration, and all his works are teeming with detail.
