Ocre and black velvet volto Dame venetian masquerade mask

Ocre and black full face Dame Venetian mask with alternating brown and black velvet arms decorated with bells and fake pearls. This papier mache masquerade mask for a female is decorated with gold leaf and gold coloured braiding around the edge.

The points are made of paper and wire and can be bent into different shapes. The Venetian mask has silk strings to tie the mask to the head for a masquerade ball or party and can also be hung on a wall as a decoration. Size and patterns vary slightly as each mask is hand made.
