Alex Shiafkou - Sales Assistant

Alex Shiafkou joined the business during summer 2014. Her main focus areas include order fulfilment, customer service and stock management. Her professional attitude and enthusiasm mean that customers are always well looked after – be that in our shop in Covent Garden or those who choose to place orders online.

Alex’s previous employment was with McDonald’s where she handled a range of tasks, including customer assistance. Her diligence and willingness to learn new skills are in line with the ambitious growth strategy of REGENT gifts.

Nazrin Mehdiyeva - Business Manager

Nazrin joined the business in late 2012. Her key focus areas include visual merchandising, quality control and developing relations with suppliers and corporate clients. She also has the overall responsibility for selecting and trialling new product ranges.

Since joining REGENT gifts, Nazrin has introduced new product categories such as wedding, christening and occasion-specific gifts – all of which have been well received by the customers.

Nazrin continues to work to ensure product ranges are listed across multiple channels and is keen to continue to expand into new, exciting products handpicked from around the world for their unique designs, quality and style.

Charles founded REGENT gifts in 2002 and is currently the sole executive director of the company.

With almost twenty years of experience in strategy and operations management consulting working at Marakon Associates and Accenture, Charles has developed an in-depth understanding of how to grow a fledgling enterprise into a successful business with a strong and viable development model.
